*MESSAGE FROM DR. ASH (UVC MEDICAL DIRECTOR):

Dear Clients, we continue to be open during the pandemic but due to the closure of several animal hospitals in our area, we've been seeing a tremendous influx of cases coming into our hospital. Unfortunately, this has led to exhaustion in the veterinary community....including our hospital & amongst our staff. We are also down several employees due to COVID and for this reason we've decided that
we cannot take on any new clients/patients starting May 1st.

We will update this section of our website when we have the ability to take on new patients. We encourage clients seeking veterinary care to continue to call other animal hospitals in the area to see who can help with their pet needs in the meantime.

We are incredibly sorry for not being able to do more for our community at this difficult time.

Dr. Ash Hakhamian, DVM

MEDICAL DIRECTOR
ADVANCED INTERNAL MED & SURGERY

Dr. Ash is the Medical Director and head of University Veterinary Center. As the ONLY double-internship and residency trained veterinarian in Anaheim. Dr. Ash offers a unique level of animal expertise offered by no other veterinarian in the Anaheim area. In addition to his role as Medical Director at UVC, Dr. Ash also donates his time as Medical Director of several animal rescue groups in Southern California.

Dr. Ingrid Hernandez, DVM

STAFF VETERINARIAN
GENERAL MEDICINE & SURGERY

Dr. Hernandez has been part of the UVC Medical Team since 2019. She has been in the veterinary profession since 2007 and started her career as an assistant, then later as a nurse and now as a doctor. She is experienced and brings a wealth of both knowledge and experience to our medical team.

Dr. Hina Pervez, DVM

STAFF VETERINARIAN
GENERAL MEDICINE & SURGERY

Dr. Pervez has been part of the UVC Medical Team since 2021. She has been in the veterinary profession since 2013 and started her career as a nurse & then later as staff doctor. She is experienced, kind and welcoming and clients really love her bedside manner. She is experienced in both general medicine and taking care of patients with various illnesses.
