MEET DR.ASH Dr. Ash is a double-internship and residency trained small animal (dog + cat) physician practicing veterinary medicine in the greater Orange County area. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in 2005. Following graduation and acceptance into veterinary school, Dr. Ash went on to earn his veterinary degree from world renowned Colorado State University, where he also served as class president. Following his graduation, Dr. Ash spent an additional 3 years in post-doctoral training programs at busy, 24-hour referral hospitals in New York, Arizona and Los Angeles.
Dr. Ash routinely performs soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery on pets, including revision surgeries that were previously unsuccessful at other facilities. As a doctor who has received advanced training in over 10 categories of pet medicine, Dr.Ash is uniquely trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of common and rare ailments that occur in the family pet population. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine - from routine vaccines and wellness appointments all the way to trauma and emergency cases.
MEET DR.SUNDBY Dr. Ash is a triple-internship and residency trained small animal (dog + cat) physician practicing veterinary medicine in the greater Orange County area. She graduated veterinary school from Kansas State University. After graduation, she participated in advanced level surgery, emergency and internal medicine internships all around the United States. She spent a whole year participating in advanced level orthopedic specialty medicine before pursuing several additional years of training in a small animal (dog + cat) surgery residency.
Dr. Sundby found her home at UVC as our hospital provides the wide array of routine and advanced level care she's used to providing her patients. She routinely performs soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery on pets, including referrals from other veterinarians in the area. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine - from routine annual check ups to injuries, emergencies and surgeries.
